Answer each of the following questions in complete sentences:
ReplyDelete1. What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt was the clues. We had to do problems, and think, and use logic to find the next clue. That was very fun, especially when you find out a clue. It comes on like a lightbulb. Another favorite part was when I made Terry say 사랑해요 to the nurse, “p” number of times. That was really funny and I still have the video.
2. What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt was singing “I’m a Little Teapot” in front of several different classes. Terry and I had to sing it to 7th graders (Mr. McLean’s class) and fellow 8th graders (Mr. Forrestal’s class). That was embarrassing. Mr. Forrestal told his students to start recording, and who knows where those videos might have gone...
3. What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I wouldn’t really change anything. It was fun and fun the way it was. The clues were fun and interesting, and it was fun. Nothing should really be changed.
4. Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
It made the Scavenger Hunt very fun. It was the central part of the thing. If your smartphone lost its internet, than you would have to struggle. That made it very competitive and fun because you never know when your smartphone might lose its internet connection. The video clues made it very fun also. We had to watch and listen, and hear carefully. This style of multimedia clues made it much more fun compared to paper and pencil.
1) What was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the scavenger hunt was the I’m a Little Teacup. Terry and I didn’t even get the question wrong but we still went to the class and sang for no reasons... Singing to the others was a good way to remind ourselves to not get any more questions wrong.
2) What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
My least favorite part about the scavenger hunt was the QR Code. It is a very interesting and smart way to do activities such as this. However, while I was doing the hunt, my internet didn’t work which took A LOT of our time. There were other factors that effected the result.
3) What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
If I could change something about the hunt, I would add more activities that included singing or doing embarrassing things. Singing to the others and saying I love you was really funny. If there are more activities that includes humiliation, it will be really fun to do.
4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
I think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun! It was fun because the fact that we can use our cellphones during school hour was a happy news for most of the students. We also had to fight(?) to take the QR Codes first. It was more competitive and fun rather than just getting a slip of paper.
Answer each of the following questions in complete sentences:
ReplyDeleteWhat was your favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt? (You can have more than one favorite.)
My favorite part of the Scavenger Hunt was trying to figure out where we have to go by looking at the pictures and videos because all the pictures were creative. (especially the pac man one).
What was your least favorite part? (Again, more than one least favorite is acceptable.)
I really didn’t have a least favorite part but if I really had to choose one, my least favorite part was waiting for the video to load since I wanted to move on quickly but the video took time to load.
What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)\
I would put more traps (like more than one) because traps are funny and it can also make you try even harder to solve the problem correctly so you won’t fall in the trap.
Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
I think the QR Codes made the hunt way more fun! Without them, we would just be looking at the video or picture the teacher shows us in that station and it wouldn’t be as interesting as scanning it and looking at it. Also, using technology almost always makes things more interesting!
1. My favorite parts were the punishments. When we got certain questions wrong the answer would tell us to go somewhere where the teacher would ask us to do something funny and then tell us we got it wrong. These were very fun parts. I also liked the alternatives we could do, such as going to the cage and getting the answers to the questions.
ReplyDelete2. I did not have a part which I disliked, however if I was to describe the part I liked the least then it was having to solve the problems.

4. I think the QR codes made it much more fun, and it just wouldn't have been the same without them. Having a question on a paper just isn't as fun as having to scan it and get it on the internet. 4) Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
The QR Codes were okay. Personally, they were a bit annoying because I had to stand in the basketball court for more than 7 minutes sweating like a piece of butter in the sun because my IPod would not read it correctly. Finally, it worked and I was just opening the website when April, my team member came along and told me to come inside- they had already gotten the answer before me. In other words, I had been sweating out in the sun for no benefit at all. But honestly, I liked the QR codes. As long as it's inside the building, not outside. :)

3. What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)

What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
It could be more intense and more pressured if the playing field was bigger- such as using the field, swimming pool, B1, B2 and such. Also, you could probably add in “Dead ends” so if someone solves a problem wrong, they would hit a dead end with a QR code that lets them know that they were wrong- such as a message saying “ha ha”
Did you think the QR Codes made the hunt more fun than it would have been without them? Why or why not?
Though it was fun scanning and seeing the videos and instructions, since I don’t have my own smartphone, we were a bit disadvantaged than teams where both people had smartphones.
